Your problem looks like a basic network configuration problem, not a yocto specific problem. I am closing this bug for that reason. However, if you can clone other git repositories but not the yocto one, please re-open the bug. Please consult the manual http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.1/mega-manual/mega-manual.html regarding working behind a proxy, if that is your case.
