I've been unable to replicate this error on my windows setup. toaster quilt bash... works fine. My laptop struggles to do toaster core-image-minimal core-image-sato , due to docker dying when I run out of memory, but that's a hw resource issue... 70564 5 brian.avery 2017-02-08 22:03:12 +0000 after acquiring a beefier windows machine I built "core-image-minimal core-image-sato" to completion using the toaster container via the Toaster ui using a local project. The main thing I changed from the online documentation was I allowed for more space and more memory in the default machine we create: $ docker-machine create -d virtualbox --virtualbox-cpu-count=2 --virtualbox-memory=6144 --virtualbox-disk-size=90000 default This insured that I ran out of neither memory nor space. Since the space will not grow arbitrarily on the docker toolbox version, you need to make sure you have allocated enough disk space for what you plan to build.
