> What required perl in the sato image?

Before this build, perl is exist in sato image, so when executing the test case about perl, we hope perl exist in current image.</thetext>

    <thetext>Perl disappeared after commit b71f3e4cea56fbce2d303d321734a7098116cccd,

commit b71f3e4cea56fbce2d303d321734a7098116cccd
Author: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
Date: Tue Jun 7 15:11:09 2011 -0700

    local.conf.sample: remove default EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES

The default list of EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES adds alot to the generic non-dev and non-sdk image
so ensure that the sato-sdk and lsb-sdk includes this list by default.

#########

tools-profile depends on perf, which introduces perl when building image. By default, tools-profile is in EXTRA_IMAGE_FEATURES, but after above commit, it's not enabled so perf and perl are not built in.

With sato-sdk image, tools-profile is defined in core-image-sato-sdk.bb, so we still have perl in sato-sdk image.

My suggestion is to mark the bug as WONTFIX because it's natural we don't support -tools in other images, except for -sdk images.</thetext>
