This results in a package called: glibc-locale-locale.alias, which is not a valid package that can be installed in an image (presumably because it contains a "." ?) I think it would be ideal if the alias file could be installed by specifying it in the IMAGE_LINGUAS variable (e.g. IMAGE_LINGUAS = "alias") A Documentation change is probably not strictly necessary, but it might be nice to document how to get the locale.alias file on an image. 75193 1 raj.khem 2017-07-20 15:16:00 +0000 This can be packaged into /etc I think it can be 75202 2 JPEWhacker 2017-07-20 16:10:09 +0000 IIRC it can be in /etc, but glibc installs it in /usr/share/locale.
