When select avahi, I noticed there seems be a circular dependency issue between avahi and libnss-mdns, if you deselect either, it claims the other depends on it 14972 3 josh 2011-07-25 08:14:39 +0000 This is related to Tasks and Images using the same dependency and reverse dependency resolution as packages whereas we should not be doing reverse dependency checking for tasks so as not to confuse the user with this behaviour. But I find other issues, like hob hang if I deselect acl first. Will open another bug.
