    <thetext>I&apos;m not sure it makes sense to compile qemu for x32? In our normal use cases we don&apos;t use qemu on target (and I&apos;m not sure the target recipe even works for other architectures).</thetext>

What is wrong with zlib build?  I can build x32 zlib without any changes.
I just pass CC=&quot;gcc -mx32&quot; and configure it as x86-64-linux:

+ ./configure --libdir=/usr/libx32 --includedir=/usr/include --prefix=/usr

we need x32 qemu binary unless we have an x32 host machine.</thetext>
