    <thetext>FWIW we have installed a workaround in kernel 5.15 recipe to ignore textrels for now, but I agree, it should be root caused.</thetext>

did you try it after removing following line from meta/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-yocto_6.4.bb ?

    <thetext>re-opening, since this wasn&apos;t about building, but about textrel. Which we currently have no intention of fixing.

Also moving out to 4.99 future, so it doesn&apos;t have to be constantly updated.</thetext>
