<thetext>Hi Team,

With mention layer and respective changes, could build image Ok and install/flash same (core-image-minimal-pocketbeagle.rootfs.wic) using balenaEtcher-1.18.11-x64.AppImage utility to pocketbeagle device.

And, device loading looks Ok as leds blinking as expected, but, to check the OS or system-up am not unable to access hardware with ssh/minicom.

Would appreciate any inputs on same or any suggest me any documentation related to accessing pocketbeagle device from Ubuntu(host).

Just for reference, with pocketbeagle provided Image(am335x-debian-11.7-iot-armhf-2023-09-02-4gb.img.xz) could login to device using ssh at 'ssh debian@192.168.6.2' (passwd: temppwd).

Notes:
Device link: https://www.beagleboard.org/boards/pocketbeagle-original
Respective layer added to poky: https://github.com/e-ale/meta-pocketbeagle.git
Changes per my platform:
MACHINE ??= "pocketbeagle"
PREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yocto ?= "6.1%"
# Note, with 6.5 version noticed some patch apply issues :(
# Then with changing to # 6.1 build looks Ok :)

Thanks,
Paul</thetext>

Trevor, what do you want to do with this bug?
It's technically not an oe-core issue it seems to me at least. -- Randy</thetext>

<thetext>Configuring networking is not a meta-pocketbeagle-specific issue, it is related to which init system you are using. Please check with the documentation of your init system to understand how to configure networking, then you can integrate your specific wishes into your builds.</thetext>
