It looks like the fact that meta isn't there (and it ok), isn't being detected. I had this recipe on my 'to check' list for the 1.1 release. With the re-factored variables, a korg based recipe must set: YOCTO_KERNEL_META_DATA= To clear the requirement that the fetched repo contain meta-data. Then things will build.
