Some xorg.conf files enale DPMS but don't disable the screen blanking: https://git.yoctoproject.org/poky/tree/meta/recipes-graphics/xorg-xserver/xserver-xf86-config/qemuarm/xorg.conf We should consider disabling screen blanking and poweroff.
