It just hung there, until I pressed ctrl-z; running 'fg' would then cause screen to quit. # fg screen Sorry, cannot contact session "781.ttyS0.qemux86" again. Using a common x86 PC. Can also reproduce in qemu with some bsps (e.g. qemuppc) but qemux86 seems fine.
