Please consider fixing them. This is due to the distutils-common-base.bbclass missing the staticdev package in the PACKAGES field. This has been fixed in the master branch (http://cgit.openembedded.org/openembedded-core/commit?id=0c4c3ebfedd06b2b8f36747bc0c0d986f05420cf), can it be ported back to the 1.3 (danny) branch?
