Our investigation points to the following gcc bug. http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=57717#c1 (gcc ICE when building for gnuspe targets where -mfloat-gprs=double is used. -mfloat-gprs=single works fine) The similar behavior is observed for this bug: ICE for -mfloat-gprs=double, compilation OK for “single”. The gcc bug has a partial fix but the bug fix status is currently “UNCONFIRMED”.
