    <thetext>some package requires the timestamp is the same as it&apos;s built. For example llvm and clang compiler.
And in 1.5.3, when populate the ext filesystem, the timestamp is updated.
Please keep the time stamp in the rootfs file.</thetext>

    <thetext>So, if I am understanding correctly, you want the files installed on the roofs 
using the same timestamp, since we use package managers to install the rootfs, 
it will install them that way.  What&apos;s the real issue you are trying to resolve 
on the target system?  This is likely not going to be a fixable situation, so I 
want to understand what the real issue is..</thetext>
