<thetext>Hi guys,
I had a intel 7260HMW card connected to the mini pcie slot on my
extension board(seacat lure reference design).
My goal is implement the Wake on Wireless Lan feature on minnowmax, let
the wifi card can wake up the system from S3.
but when the system go into S3, the power for mpcie(3.3v & 1.5v) was
shutdown by default,
any method can keep the power for mpcie during S3 state?</thetext>

<thetext>WOL works well now, so it seemed AUX power/WAKE#/PME/GPE all also works when the system entered into the S3 status.

So is this issue from 'the mPCIe wifi was power-off totally and without AUX power enable'?</thetext>

<thetext>Wei can you check this with 0.77 and see if this problem is still there as it sounds like (from Austin's comments) this should be fixed.</thetext>

    <thetext>Hi john,
I've updated the BIOS, test the TP52 in extension board(seacat lure reference design), seems like the 3v3 power still off when system go into S3 state.</thetext>

> Austin can you check what Wei is saying?

Stephen,

After update the bios, because the pin for providing power to wifi is still power-off during S3, so Wake-on-WIFI will still not work.</thetext>

    <thetext>austin,

About your comment:
"WOL works well now, so it seemed AUX power/WAKE#/PME/GPE all also works when the system entered into the S3 status."

Do you mean that "waking from the onboard Realtek PCIe network card" works well, but "waking from mPCIe WIFI card" still fail?</thetext>

David, you are absolutely right.

thanks.

P.S, Stephen, the state of "assigned to" was set to me, it seemed to be wrong here:-)</thetext>

<thetext>the seacat design did not properly implement the ability to wake from S3. the original design for the seacat was intended to simply test the I/O functionality of the PCIe and SATA interfaces on the High Speed Expansion.</thetext>
