<thetext>The lab clearly took a lot of time to write, is well done, and addresses what I see as a *very* common need. Updating labs like this should probably be part of moving ahead as long as they are relevant.</thetext>

<thetext>Thanks Brian bridge me to this bz. I have updated material to Jethro (2.0) and linux kernel 4.1. The package has been sent to Saul Wood for review.

Assign this to me to reduce any duplications.</thetext>

<thetext>I've completed the update to krogoth, but need to wait until the release to release it.

At that point I'll do one final test pass and then get it hosted on the yocto site (and will send out a notice when ready).</thetext>

> Tom,
> Do you mean mismatched-arch issue discussed today is fixed?

No, for lab1 I was able to work around the problem by grabbing the i386 defconfig.

The mismatched-arch problem still exists but is not blocking the labs.</thetext>

    <thetext>yay for lab!
But the link in the announcement:
https://www.yoctoproject.org/sites/default/files/kernel-lab-2.1.pdf

doesn't work. Nor does the 2.1 lab appear when I follow the learn more -> obtain training -> kernel dance... I see 1.4-1.6.</thetext>

A last minute change was made to the link, which is now:

As for the learn more -> obtain training -> kernel dance, for some reason the new lab wasn't put with the others under the 'Kernel Lab' item but a new item 'Hands-on kernel lab for YP 2.1 krogoth' was created for it, not sure why - it's at the top of the list.

Let me know if you're still seeing any problems.</thetext>

<thetext>those work. but I'd probably ask Michael to move it to the kernel dance location as google'yocto kernel lab' returns the kernel dance location as the first hit :)</thetext>

OK, good to know. I've added this info to bug 9560 and asked for the change, thanks.</thetext>
