Using a clean database, create a Toaster project using the local release. Navigate to the compatible software recipes page and make sure it's empty. 2. Create a second Toaster project using the local release. Navigate to the compatible software recipes page and make sure it's empty. 3. Go back to the project you created in step 1 and import a layer, for example, meta-intel, by entering the following details in the import layer page: layer name: meta-intel-imported Git URL: git://git.yoctoproject.org/meta-intel revision: master The list of compatible layers in this project will now include a meta-intel-imported layer 4. Build a recipe from the meta-intel layer, for example: intel-gpu-tools. Once the build completes, the list of compatible software recipes will now include the intel-gpu-tools recipe 5. Go to the project you created in step 2 and check the list of compatible layers and the list of compatible software recipes. They are no longer empty: they have the same information as in the project you created in step 1.
