    <thetext>branch: bernard/poky master tree
poky commit: 82af8b9fb6d6d1439943fd15b8a75c0e663e4a45
build target: poky-image-basic

To test non-GPLv3 build, I need to build poky-image-basic. I find with latest gold build commit, poky-image-basic build will meet do_compile error. Check the log as follownig:

<thetext>This is due to a missing host dependency. Debian-based hosts split up groff into groff-base and groff packages. I bet you have groff-base installed but not groff. That will fix this problem.

See bug 857 for how this got resolved recently in our documentation.</thetext>

Thanks, Scott.
It could pass build after groff installed.</thetext>

<thetext>Since bug 857 is fixed, I suppose I could mark this bug as fixed also becasue poky-image-basic could pass build after groff installed.</thetext>
