There is a patch on master to fix the build with gcc6:

commit b83a808fcbd3e7aec3b0757c7180cf83dac44e92
Author: Dan McGregor <dan.mcgregor@usask.ca>
Date: Wed May 11 10:35:15 2016 -0700

pkgconfig: Fix build with gcc-6 and upgrade to 0.29.1

glib patch is backported from glib-2.0 upstream
eventually we will throw it away once pkgconfig
    moves to newer glib

Maybe we need to backport it ?</thetext>

> Yes, can you backport just the gdate gcc patch to krogoth and post the patch?

Hi Ross,

After backport the patch for pkgconfig-native, I found there are several native packages also build failed with gcc6:
elfutils-natvie, rpm-native, binutils-native, glib-native, docbook-utils-native, gcc-cross.

That means we need to backport a lot of patches and spend more time to test to make sure they work well on Fedora 24 and other distributions.

How do you think about it? Or we just declare krogoth doesn't support Fedora 24 ?</thetext>
