The RMC is still a moving target, so this will be on hold for a while. RMC is not a feature YP has adopted. RMC (Runtime Machine Configuration) was never adopted by YP. |
Created attachment 3338 [details] Proposal: Skeleton of RMC Test Cases Runtime Machine Configuration (RMC) is a new feature to YP land. With core RMC project and a modified installer and bootloader, A generic built image can apply board-specific quirks and customizations at runtime (live-boot or installation). From designer's view, I propose a draft (attached). This skeleton is not meant to dictate the test case design, but more on what we think should be tested. QA team should have the best experience on TC. meta-intel/documentation/rmc/README is the single entry point of information for users. Please QA help to create test cases. If you think more test cases should be added, just do it. Feel free to let me know anything I can help. Thanks!
