The eclipse-poky plugin workflow is not particularly obvious and the fact that the http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/eclipse-poky/tree/scripts/readme.txt is out of date and "buried" in the tree is not helpful.

The README should be elevated to the root directory, updated, and expanded to help guide new users to best-practices for the workflow.
