Solution: git cherry-pick 3b49416fc7a7ee9bfe722f2e6089aa18df41dc58 git cherry-pick ae440cd1b8e088ee197bbfa283ac257a3860ebcd Not appropriate for 1.0.1 as it's too much risk with not enough QA I think not being able to build external modules is very serious bug. What would you consider sufficient QA? The first of these patches has been in master since Mar 8th, the latter is a relatively trivial fix that has been in since April 19. I've built qemux86 linux-yocto and linux-yocto-stable and verified the image boots (and that's all we really need to do since this doesn't change how the kernel is built). Closing. |
