This bugs can be solved by the following steps
1 for ppc(mpc8315e-rdb)
PC$ vim /media/D/poky/git/poky/meta/recipes-qt/qt4/qt4-x11-free.inc
......
QT_GLFLAGS ?= "-no-opengl"
QT_GLFLAGS_qemux86 = "-opengl"
QT_GLFLAGS_emenlow = "-opengl"
QT_GLFLAGS_atom-pc = "-opengl"
QT_GLFLAGS_qemuppc = "-opengl"
+QT_GLFLAGS_mpc8315e-rdb = "-opengl"
QT_CONFIG_FLAGS += "-no-xinerama -no-xkb ${QT_GLFLAGS}"
QT_BASE_NAME ?= "qt4"
QT_BASE_LIB ?= "libqt"
inherit qt4x11
2 for x86 and x86-64
PC$vim /media/D/poky/git/poky/meta/recipes-qt/qt4/qt4-x11-free.inc
......
QT_GLFLAGS ?= "-no-opengl"
QT_GLFLAGS_qemux86 = "-opengl"
QT_GLFLAGS_emenlow = "-opengl"
QT_GLFLAGS_atom-pc = "-opengl"
QT_GLFLAGS_qemuppc = "-opengl"
+QT_GLFLAGS_specific-hardware-platfrom = "-opengl"
QT_CONFIG_FLAGS += "-no-xinerama -no-xkb ${QT_GLFLAGS}"
QT_BASE_NAME ?= "qt4"
QT_BASE_LIB ?= "libqt"
Because wind river have no x86 and x86-64 hardware platform, so please Intel make patches for QtOpenGL to OE-CORE. I can enable them for x86 and x86-64 but I can't test them without hardware. LSB could delay if no libQtOpenGL.so

And you'll test on ppc. After our testings are done, the bug will be fixed. Am I correct? BTW: can we test it using qemux86 and qemux86-64? I guess not since qemu doesn't support opengl now(?) What x86 and x86-64 target should I build? I know BSP sugarbay is x86-64 and BSP n450 seems x86. Can I test on them? how to test them? Please clarify the questions since I'm not very clear about the background. :-) > > > Because wind river have no x86 and x86-64 hardware platform, so please Intel > > > make patches for QtOpenGL to OE-CORE. Currenly we are doing LSB test on jasperforest(x86-64). I think sugarbay and n450 should be OK also. But the problem is that if we need to enable opengl for all meta-intel BSPs. Xiaofeng has a doc for LSB test suite setup, I could send you by email. > Please clarify the questions since I'm not very clear about the background. :-) (In reply to comment #2) > (In reply to comment #1) > > This bugs can be solved by the following steps > > 1 for ppc(mpc8315e-rdb) > > PC$ vim /media/D/poky/git/poky/meta/recipes-qt/qt4/qt4-x11-free.inc > > ...... > > QT_GLFLAGS ?= "-no-opengl" > > QT_GLFLAGS_qemux86 = "-opengl" > > QT_GLFLAGS_emenlow = "-opengl" > > QT_GLFLAGS_atom-pc = "-opengl" > > QT_GLFLAGS_qemuppc = "-opengl" > > +QT_GLFLAGS_mpc8315e-rdb = "-opengl" > > QT_CONFIG_FLAGS += "-no-xinerama -no-xkb ${QT_GLFLAGS}" > > QT_BASE_NAME ?= "qt4" > > QT_BASE_LIB ?= "libqt" > > inherit qt4x11 > > 2 for x86 and x86-64 > > PC$vim /media/D/poky/git/poky/meta/recipes-qt/qt4/qt4-x11-free.inc > > ...... > > QT_GLFLAGS ?= "-no-opengl" > > QT_GLFLAGS_qemux86 = "-opengl" > > QT_GLFLAGS_emenlow = "-opengl" > > QT_GLFLAGS_atom-pc = "-opengl" > > QT_GLFLAGS_qemuppc = "-opengl" > > +QT_GLFLAGS_specific-hardware-platfrom = "-opengl" > > QT_CONFIG_FLAGS += "-no-xinerama -no-xkb ${QT_GLFLAGS}" > > QT_BASE_NAME ?= "qt4" > > QT_BASE_LIB ?= "libqt" > > Because wind river have no x86 and x86-64 hardware platform, so please Intel > > make patches for QtOpenGL to OE-CORE. We make lsb test on ppc and have generated a libQtOpenGl.so on mpc8315e-rdb and it's ok here. > After our testings are done, the bug will be fixed. > yes if you enable this configure on .bb file. If you build a lsb-image for yourself, you should enable DISTRO="poky-lsb" to instead of DISTRO="poky" in file build/conf/local.conf > > Please clarify the questions since I'm not very clear about the background. :-) Saul have re-factored changes to enable configuration for qtopengl on target platform. The next is detailed steps

I'm building sugarbay (x86-64) and n450 (x86) images and trying to test this. |
