Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a Toaster project with release master

2. Go to the import layer page and import a layer specifying a directory as the location of the layer source code

3. Back in the project configuration page, remove the layer you just imported from the layers list

4. In the "type a layer name" above the layers list, type the name of the layer you just removed

Outcome: the layer in the type ahead suggestions shows 

[ | master ]

next to it. 

Expected: No branch should be shown for non-git layers like this one, since the source code location points to a directory. The typeahead suggestions should show the layer name only.
