Description Darren Hart 2011-05-11 13:03:04 UTC
As users become more advanced with the bitbake environment, a set of best practices for advanced users would be nice to be able to point people at.

One example would be using the OECORELOCALCONF environment variable to specify a local.conf a user wants to reuse when creating new build environments.

This bug is mostly to discuss where it should be and how it should be maintained. I propose a wiki page maintained by the people that ask the questions and get the answers. If we agree, I'll create the page and add the OECORELOCALCONF as the first entry.

Is this really Documentation or Wiki?
Comment 2 Darren Hart 2012-05-01 17:44:17 UTC
Wiki sounds like a better target. I don't see a way to mark documentation as destined for the wiki.

This is best covered with the how-do-i and official manuals. Closing.
