Description Ross Burton 2016-10-14 12:46:44 UTC
I have a meta-ross layer that contains a number of useful classes I've written, is a staging area for new recipes, and also contains a site.conf pointing at my local DL_DIR, assigns proxies, etc.

When creating an eSDK it will generate a new uninative tarball and put it into <outputdir>/downloads/uninative/, as this is where it expects the default DL_DIR to be. My layer is also in the SDK so that sets DL_DIR to ~ross/Yocto/downloads, which is not the default location.

I'm guessing a simple fix would be to explicitly assign DL_DIR in the generated local.conf instead of expecting the default value is left alone.

Patch sent to the list. Paul, your opinion on this would be appreciated!

Contemplating layers changing DL_DIR makes me feel somewhat ill, but the fix is OK.
