Description Juro Bystricky 2016-11-14 23:31:55 UTC
It should be possible to run some Zephyr images in QEMU. This is already supported in native Zephyr build environment. YP should allow it as well.

$ bitbake my-zephyr-image
$ runqemu zephyr.elf

This feature can be used to automate testing as well.

This can be addressed by generating qemuboot.conf containing all needed info to run the Zephyr image in QEMU.
One problem remains thought: runqemu ALWAYS assumes a network is present. There is no way to disable network without patching the "runqemu " itself.
