Under the glossary entry for STAGING_DIR we could use a reference to SYSROOT_DIRS being the variable that you can now use to control the list of subdirectories that get staged.

We also need to do a similar thing for the "Sharing Files Between Recipes" section in the dev manual. An example of adding /opt to the directories that get staged would be:

SYSROOT_DIRS += "/opt"
