I tried reproducing the issue: MACHINE=qemumips bitbake qemu-nativesdk and it built fine without any issues. I used gcc 4.5.1 for this. Jessica can you try one more time from scratch? Nitin, My setting is MACHINE=qemux86 bitbake meta-toolchain I just tried this: MACHINE=qemux86 bitbake qemu-nativesdk and didn't get any error. Now trying this MACHINE=qemux86 bitbake meta-toolchain Created attachment 162 [details]
build failure log
just tried with a freshly cloned master tree I am upgrading eglibc to 2.13, and that is taking care of this issue. need to do more testing for eglibc to get it into master branch. With upgrade to eglibc 2.13 this bug is fixed now. commit 301e248311c215357e51464fb0b7e1155311fc7a Author: Nitin A Kamble <nitin.a.kamble@intel.com> Date: Thu May 19 15:50:41 2011 -0700 tcmode-default: switch to eglibc 2.13 from 2.12 Signed-off-by: Nitin A Kamble <nitin.a.kamble@intel.com> |
