Description Paul Eggleton 2016-12-11 22:30:20 UTC
When we fetch from a git repository, because we run git multiple times, we can end up with several 0-100% progress displays for the same do_fetch task. It would be nice if it were just one.

The challenge is we can end up trying multiple different sources to try and find a revision, with fallbacks if the original method fails. We can't know in advance if something will fail and if we will fall back to the mirrors. Closing as effectively CANTFIX.
