STATUS: FAILED
BUILD: 2,3_M2 : 62d7d4130202d8ede16abf9e7d779361ca70847e
ENVIRONMENT: Fedora 24 x86_64
STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Start by creating a fresh build directory:	source oe-init-build-env newbuild2a. break the proxy settings for git by issuing the following command:	sudo chmod -x /usr/local/bin/git-proxy2b. or, if the proxy configuration differs, another way to do it is by executing in the same shell session:	GIT_PROXY_COMMAND=3. fetch all required packages for a core-image-sato image by issuing	bitbake -c fetchall core-image-sato4a. once bitbake finishes, repair the git proxy settings with:	sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/git-proxy4b. or, if 2b was followed, close and open a new shell session to refresh the environment

EXPECTED OUTCOME:

bitbake command issued on step 3 should complete successfully

ACTUAL OUTCOME:

bitbake command didn't complete successfully. The following three errors were present:

Summary: 3 tasks failed:
  /home/jairdeje/poky1058/meta/recipes-core/glibc/glibc-initial_2.25.bb:do_fetch
  /home/jairdeje/poky1058/meta/recipes-core/glibc/cross-localedef-native_2.25.bb:do_fetch
  /home/jairdeje/poky1058/meta/recipes-core/glibc/glibc_2.25.bb:do_fetch

As an additional note, I tried to execute the command both in my local machine and on yctb06 with the same results.

I have attached a log file with more details about the failure.
Comment 1 Richard Purdie 2017-01-28 12:47:01 UTC
Could you add the full task log for the failure please (/home/jairdeje/poky1058/build/tmp/work/i586-poky-linux/glibc/2.25-r0/temp/log.do_fetch.4260) ?

I have attached the full task log - log.do_fetch.42607
Comment 4 Jair Gonzalez 2017-02-07 23:42:24 UTC
I tested again with 2.3_M2 rc3 (226a508da955439b881b2f0a544a3aee76e59919) in my local machine and in yctb06 and this issue is NOT present on it.
Comment 5 Jair Gonzalez 2017-02-08 16:45:48 UTC
I'll mark this issue as resolved as it's not present on 2.3 M2 rc3.

Juan, could you please verify the issue is not reproducible on your side either and close the bug after confirming it? The test case steps are documented on: https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/tr_show_case.cgi?case_id=1058

4a. once bitbake finishes, repair the git proxy settings with:
