Description Stephano Cetola 2017-03-31 18:00:42 UTC
There are several variables which can effect the final image. Wic should take these variables into account when creating images. It would be nice if it let the user know it was doing this, list the variables it is using, and give the user a way to override these variables.

In image.bbclass: get_rootfs_size()

    rootfs_alignment = int(d.getVar('IMAGE_ROOTFS_ALIGNMENT'))
    overhead_factor = float(d.getVar('IMAGE_OVERHEAD_FACTOR'))
    rootfs_req_size = int(d.getVar('IMAGE_ROOTFS_SIZE'))
    rootfs_extra_space = eval(d.getVar('IMAGE_ROOTFS_EXTRA_SPACE'))
    rootfs_maxsize = d.getVar('IMAGE_ROOTFS_MAXSIZE')
    image_fstypes = d.getVar('IMAGE_FSTYPES') or ''
    initramfs_fstypes = d.getVar('INITRAMFS_FSTYPES') or ''
    initramfs_maxsize = d.getVar('INITRAMFS_MAXSIZE')

ROOTFS_SIZE gets set with the value of the above function.

Bulk move from 4.99 or 0.00 to 5.99
