For example if I run $ runqemu ../vmlinux.bin-qemumips64.bin ../core-image-sato-sdk-qemumips64.ext4 I get : Traceback (most recent call last): File "/big/src/myBugs/poky/scripts/runqemu", line 1238, in <module> ret = main() File "/big/src/myBugs/poky/scripts/runqemu", line 1231, in main config.start_qemu() File "/big/src/myBugs/poky/scripts/runqemu", line 1142, in start_qemu raise Exception('Failed to run %s' % cmd) But, if you actually run the /qemu-system-mips64 command, you see: qemu: could not load kernel '/big/src/myBugs/CH_HUAT/vmlinux.bin-qemumips64.bin' which is quite a bit more helpful. runqemu should capture and print out stdout/stderr from qemu-system-XXX when it fails and print it out.
