also tried the git master head to manually build minimal image, the same error as above.

Bruce, I think we've seen this sort of thing before. Is this bad tarballs again?

Nope, but this is definitely fixed in master. The re-test must have happened
after my SRCREV fix or as you wondered, the meta fix wasn't pulled into the
local tree.

I'll have a look, this definitely works now, so I'll retest from a clean tree here.

confirmed. this works in master.

commit e5f3cc34df74c08c8cab3e1cf9207fafaec6cb9a is too old, you don't have
my SRCREV fix that repairs the problem.

verified on nightly build 20110617-4:

kernel,dtb,minimal,sato,sato-sdk images can be found.
