Description Saul Wold 2017-07-31 21:55:07 UTC
The spp kernel tool seems to match a single item KTYPE instead of both KTYPE and KMACHINE. This causes wrong meta-data to be selected when no matching KMACHINE BSP is in the yocto kernel metadata (cache).

It will return the KTYPE match and thus cause bad setting to possibly be set for the kernel config.

Agreed. And this used to be the case, I'll have a look at what caused this regression.
Comment 2 Bruce Ashfield 2017-08-15 14:15:49 UTC
I'm doing the 4.12 kernel for m3, so moving this to m4 as a bug fix.
