psplash issue images

The psplash new "image" has been created with:

./make-image-header.sh 800x480-testpic.png POKY
cp 800x480-testpic.png.h psplash-poky-img.h

I'm using 2.3.1 (pyro) poky version:
meta-poky = "pyro:6bd890d9e011014cf323e61267f8b256949d44aa"

I'm using 800 x 480 display (Mitsubishi).

As visible on screenshot (Mit_image_distortion.jpg), the image is malformed.
The same appears with psplash -a 180 (but is rotated).

The original image: img_800x480_3x8bit_RGB_circles_progressive_b_corner_bl.png

Ɓukasz

Were you ever able to resolve this ? Do you have a patch?

We need more info on how to reproduce the issue on a supported branch ideally.
Re-open if you can provide that data. Thanks. -- Yocto Bug Triage
