When packaging wireshark-1_2.2.9-r0 I consistently get error messages that start with

QA Issue: non debug package contains .debug directory: wireshark path /work/armv7a-vfp-neon-poky-linux-gnueabi/wireshark/1_2.2.9r0/packages-split/wireshark/usr/lib/wireshark/plugins/2.2.9/.debug/wimaxmacphy.so

for various shared objects.

That would be because a non-debug package (wireshark in this case) contains .debug directories. These should be put into wireshark-dbg. This is a bug in the recipe.

Note that as of krogoth (2.1) onwards the core classes will automatically handle .debug packaging so if you've copied a recipe from meta-oe master and are trying to use it with Dora (1.5) then this is exactly the sort of problem you'll hit and you'll need to restore the extra FILES assignments that were removed when the automatic debug packaging was added.
