Description Daniela Plascencia 2017-10-03 16:24:24 UTC
There's a temporal workaround in scripts/patchtest for the "too many open files" error [1]. We must provide an adequate solution for it.

[1] Too many files open eror:

/patchtest/mboxes/4134.1.mbox

/patchtest/mboxes/4135.1.mbox
/patchtest/patchtest/scripts/test-mboxes: line 86: /patchtest/results/4135.1.mbox.log: Too many open files
INIT: Switching to runlevel: 0
INIT: Sending processes the TERM signal

Due to time constraints and importance, moving this issue to Future as of now, it is not causing any problem with the patchtest execution.
Comment 2 Trevor Gamblin 2023-10-05 15:02:36 UTC
This is no longer relevant with the recent refactor, as it has not been seen using new scripts and test-mboxes is no longer present. Marking as obsolete.
