Description Phlip Balister 2017-10-26 12:54:02 UTC
It would be handy if we raised the visibility of stack overflow questions in #yocto.

Can we try configuring yocti to alert #yocto when there are new questions on stack overflow.

My small reading on the subject suggests:

https://stackoverflow.com/feeds/tag/yocto+or+openembedded+or+poky

returns a list of all questions tagged with yocto, openembedded, or poky.

If this gets annoying or is hopelessly hard, we can turn off or mark to hard.

I've installed the RSS plugin and configured it to announce this feed in #yocto according to the documentation.

I've seen one announcement so far. No links though. I'm seeing if I can get those in the output.

I have configured it to show links.

This plugin announces the feed every half hour by default. So we won't see if the links are showing until the next change on StackOverflow plus up to 30m.

Seems to be working well to me (thanks Michael!).
