Description Chin Huat Ang 2017-12-12 07:09:31 UTC
Long filenames are cropped in the autoindex, this make it difficult to do a text search for files.

To reproduce:

1. Go to https://autobuilder.yocto.io/pub/releases/yocto-2.4.1.rc1/toolchain/x86_64/
2. Use browser text search to look for any files. For example I tried to search for "poky-glibc-x86_64-core-image-sato-i586-toolchain-2.4.1.sh" but I cannot type to search beyond "poky-glibc-x86_64-core-image-sato-i586-toolchai" which would highlight multiple matches.

Workaround:

Combine step #2 above and examine browser tooltip for the correct URL.

This is WIP but not as trivial as it seems. We use an Nginx module to enable display of long filenames and that 3rd party module isn't compatible with the Nginx version on our new download server…

Michael is, however, working on this.

I've built the module from source and enabled it on the server. This will need to be rebuilt as we upgrade to new version of EPEL.
