Comment 1 California Sullivan 2018-02-08 21:47:59 UTC
I can reproduce this issue. Happens with 4.14 only, with all intel-core2-32 images on a 32bit Minnowboard. Does not reproduce with the same images ran via qemu.
Comment 2 California Sullivan 2018-02-08 23:04:18 UTC
Also reproduced it with linux-yocto-dev which is pointing to 4.15.

Found the offending commit by bisecting linux-yocto-dev:

Comment 4 California Sullivan 2018-02-09 23:45:46 UTC
This is fixed by 55f49fcb879f "x86/mm: Fix overlap of i386 CPU_ENTRY_AREA with FIX_BTMAP" upstreammaster , or 04e073072d1 in linux-4.14.18.
