Description aaron_wright 2018-02-21 18:07:51 UTC
I noticed that the do_kernel_configcheck task of linux-yocto produces some great auditing reports for the kernel config, but mine was reporting several invalid CONFIG_ options. These were all from the net/netfilter/ipvs/Kconfig file.

This file uses a mix of tabs and spaces between the "config" and the name of the config option. This confuses kconf_check. Or, more precisely, the regex on line 244, "^[ ]*\(menu\)*config ". The space at the end of the regex is the problem.

This should be changed to, "^[ ]*\(menu\)*config[ ]", in order to handle the net/netfilter/ipvs/Kconfig file.
