*** Bug 12726 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Has SSTATE_MIRRORS been configured and libxml2 built there in order to make it available to install? SSTATE_MIRRORS is configures as below in conf/local.conf , SSTATE_MIRRORS += " file://universal/(.*) file://universal-4.9/\1 file://universal-4.9/(.*) file://universal-4.8/\1" SSTATE_MIRRORS += '\ file://.* http://sstate.yoctoproject.org/dev//PATH;downloadfilename=PATH' Does that SSTATE_MIRRORS setting (particularly the second one) appear in conf/local.conf within the installed eSDK? SSTATE_MIRRORS setting is appeared in conf/local.conf within the installed eSDK. ERROR: Failed to install libxml2 - unavailable My understanding was that the above was not a defect, when the libxml2 was not available in pre-built form from SDK provider, this is the error message. In this case, we can request the devtool to build the item from source: devtool sdk-install -s libxml2 libxml2 is installed using "devtool sdk-install -s libxml2" command, test caes is running succesfully. Ee Peng - right, but if libxml2 *has* been built and SSTATE_MIRRORS has been set up correctly, then I would expect it to work without -s. This is an eSDK issue, not CROPS, so I have changed the product. I think we'll call this worksforme for now; we can reopen if it's still an issue. |
