currently in the hob Base Image drop down list there're core-image-base, core-image-minimal, core-image-core, core-image-basic, which are not very meaningful what their contents are, so need more desc info regarding each image profile, would be better to audit the image profiles and do some consoliation Keep it open, and the hints for base images are in our plan. The patch for bitbake is in master: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=a95445cf7b2fdb3a3434e04e0d06a748c58fe527 The patch for meta is also in master: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=127d1fd1c2771e732f7b8b8699352e855a308cae The only left is a patch for Hob2, which would be together with Hob2 patch. Development Done, in: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky-contrib/log/?h=shane/hob2-v0.52 I could verify the feature is there since there are guidance for base image in my testing against master for 1.2 M3. Mark it fixed. Guidance text is displayed in Hob when an image is selected. |
