I get the following building core-image-minimal for the fri2 BSP with package_rpm. I see a different failure (also below) for ipk.

AIUI there was a typo in a multiarch patch which set PACKAGE_ARCH incorrectly. Therefore the packages are built with the wrong arch set and therefore are uninstallable at rootfs creation time.

Should be fixed by http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=0960f3e0502b7b26a09d4eed599e5f31cd9aeca0

Will require some rebuilding though...
