Description Jin 2020-03-17 19:32:27 UTC
The audit feature is mentioned in section 4.14.6 "linux-yocto Configuration Audit Issues Now Correctly Reported" of the Yocto Project Reference manual, however the manual does not describe how to use it or what the KCONF_BSP_AUDIT_LEVEL does.

The information can be found in linux-yocto.inc:

# LEVELS:
# 0: no reporting
# 1: report options that are specified, but not in the final config
# 2: report options that are not hardware related, but set by a BSP
KCONF_AUDIT_LEVEL ?= "1"
KCONF_BSP_AUDIT_LEVEL ?= "0"
KMETA_AUDIT ?= "yes"

...but it would be helpful to see those things in the manual as well.

Bulk move of 5.1 M4 to 5.2 M2 as approved by AlexB.

Work is in progress on the class, so postpone the documentation work on these classes for later:
