The opkg configuration format to add a Debian-Repo currently is as follows:

dist distribution uri [component1] [component2] [...]

The issue with this format is that it is different from the "official" debian 'sources.list' format (described at [1]) and in addition to that it is not very well documented.

It would be a big benefit for new opkg users if they could use this well known format to add their debian-repos:

deb uri distribution [component1] [component2] [...]
