Description Melanie 2020-06-14 04:59:18 UTC
As described in bug report #13593 the package installation could take a significant amount of time in case of a huge package index.

I was trying to speed-up this process by adding 'option nodeps true' to the configuration file in the hope that installation will be faster when opkg does not have to build the package dependencies but unfortunately speed has not changed.

Is there a possibility for improvement of the opkg-internal processing when installing packages with the 'nodeps' option in order to speed-up installation?
