It's getting more interesting ;)
The first time (where it fails) I copied the recipe over manually to my custom layer.
From now on it seems to work as expected.
1) modify works
+ devtool modify nettoe

This seems to be fixed in master. I am on this commit: commit bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c Author: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org> Date: Mon May 10 08:00:05 2021 +0100 3.3.x Whoever wants to can close it. The commit isn't valid in: $ cd .../oe-core/bitbake $ git show bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c fatal: bad object bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c $ cd .. $ git show bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c fatal: bad object bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c $ cd ../poky.git/ $ git show bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c fatal: bad object bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c I can (and by the end of the week, I will) close the defect but maybe Richard has a valid commit id. Can you please try this on master? git log | grep -A 5 -B 5 "puzzles: Upstream changed to main branch for development" commit bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c Author: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org> Date: Mon May 10 08:00:05 2021 +0100 puzzles: Upstream changed to main branch for development (From OE-Core rev: 943402b25212408a4ddcfa8a146b645509e138dd) Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org> ==== or this? git log --full-history | grep -A 10 -B 10 bb490c7ea9170fc1b3c2dd15466daf6a9fad735c Particularly, numactl, numpy and libseccomp are disabled for now due to failures or lack of qemu support. Anyway, I don't have specific commit that addresses this bug but this is fix before: https://git.openembedded.org/openembedded-core/commit/?id=943402b25212408a4ddcfa8a146b645509e138dd |
