New libevent failure, happening quite often. It is suspected to be linked to the glibc 2.34 update but doesn't happen every time:

Actually, nothing since 2021-08-08, even on builds with glibc 2.34

This issue is tracked on https://github.com/libevent/libevent/issues/1193

The same issue can occur with all libevent tests that use the flag TT_RETRIABLE.

Ideally, it should be necessary to adjust the test suite output, so that retriable tests should be marked failed only when all attempts have failed.


In addition, the run-ptest script should be a little reworked because it does not correctly count the number of tests.

The libevent patch has been reworked for the master branch and merged.
